Fantasy Football – Week 5 Results

There were no weekly previews the past few weeks. I’m thinking of removing that from the blog as it was getting to be a bit much attempting to finish off one week and quickly turnaround to preview the following week. At a minimum I’ll still get at least one post up each week and also have time to get away from the computer during the week, which gets to be a bit much after spending all day working on a computer, only to come home and spend more time on a computer.

Anyway, the Konmen turned around the 2 game losing streak with a resounding win against Breaking Bad Commish. When I finally connected back to the grid on Tuesday, I had a slew of text messages, but one of them from the Commish read “Ummm, you can stop scoring points any time now.” Here are a few notes from the game courtesy of Yahoo!

The Konmen destroyed Breaking Bad Commish 157.35 – 108.80 while also putting up the highest score of the season. Konmen (3-2, 635.45 points) climbs into second place while Breaking Bad Commish (3-2, 603.40 points) drops to third place. Ahmad Bradshaw had 33.90 points, the highest RB score of the week and the second-highest RB score in the league this season. Reggie Wayne brought in 34.20 points, which was good enough to rank fourth in the league in scoring this week and second-best of any player on Konmen this season. And finally, for the gamblers out there, the Konmen covered the 7.26-point spread, winning by 48.55 points.

Only 33 teams put up better numbers than the Konmen this week. During past years this would have been considered a down week, but compared to last week this was downright fantastic. Things are not looking good for the Konmen though the first 5 weeks as I’m in 28th place overall, 62 points behind the overall leader.
