I took a hiatus from Fantasy Football updates the past few weeks as I was taking a well deserved vacation in the Dominican Republic. Even more so, I was off the grid for the vast majority of the vacation with no access to email, internet, and cell phone service for 8 of the 9 full days away. It was great. A blog post and pictures from the trip will be posted during the next few days, but first I wanted to post fantasy football results up from the past few weeks. First up will be week 4.
The Konmen put in a solid effort against DC4ND during week 4, but was beat out by a spectacular game from Aaron Rodger. A new feature of Yahoo! fantasy football is the Recap, which includes various notes from the game. Since I’m a little behind with the game updates, I figured this would be a good time to feature some of the notes from the recap.
The 41.25 points scored by Aaron Rodgers was the third-highest QB score of the week and is the fifth-highest QB score in the league this season. Mikel Leshoure, who the Konmen picked up this week, scored below his 8.39-point projection with 4.30 points. The Konmen should have started Willis McGahee, who beat his scoring projection with 19.50 points against a projected 10.50. The Konmen got beat 14.00 – 1.00 by DC4ND at the DEF position.
Another lousy outing by the Konmen in Football Pick ‘em. Actually, this might be the worst outing in Konmen history. A total of 64 players put up more points than the Konmen this week, with only 3 teams doing worse. At least I put up some points, though, as the Jets couldn’t even muster a field goal against the 49ers. I’m glad I was off the grid and didn’t watch the game.
