Fantasy Football – Week 3 Results

Up until this past week I didn’t have any major complaints about the referees. There were a mistakes here and there, but nothing so horrendous that a team won or lost becuase of those mistakes.  That was until the Monday night game between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks. The missed and incorrect calls on the final play of the game cost the Packers the win. To make things worse, Pete Carroll is taking the not-so-humble approach to the final result noting the call was correct. Sorry, you can’t tell me that crap on the floor is a slice of pizza from Colloseos. It’s just not going to work. I was happy to see the NFL and referees come to a resolution last night, with the regular referees back in play starting tonight. Speaking of tonight, I’m a little late with the weekly results, so lets get to it.

The Konmen put up a dud in Fantasy Football this week. The vast majority of impact players put up less than stellar performances.  Actually, only three players either matched or beat the project output for the week. That’s not a good way to pull off a win. I’m hoping this was just a blip in the road where all my players didn’t show up. The Konmen are now 2-1, tied for 2nd place, but with an advantage in the tiebreaker against the other three teams with the same record.

Another horrible week greeted the Konmen in Football Pick ‘em. However, the surprising news is I actually moved up the overall rankings (#10) and picked up a point against the overall leader as I’m now 35 points behind. It’s going to take baby steps to catch up.
