Rumor has it the trade involved 4th and 6th round draft picks. How does one react to this news after making the following statement after Week 11 of the fantasy football season?
Tebow may have finished off the Jets in the final minutes of the game, but make no mistake, he is not a quality NFL quarterback. Anyone that watched the game and doesn’t have Tebow-colored glass can see it every time he throws the ball. I’m not much of a Vick fan either, but at least Vick can throw the ball down the field. It takes Tebow half a minute just to wind up before throwing the ball. And before Tebow fans jump all over me for this, let me get one thing straight, I don’t think he’s a bad guy. Don’t mix up what I think of the person vs. the football player, they are two totally different opinions.
I’m stunned the Jets would make such a move. It will be interesting to see what they have planned for Tebow, because we know he is not a full time QB.
