If you thought the end of last nights game was exciting, imagine me watching the last minute of the game. With just under 1 minute to go, the Konmen had just under a 2 point lead. If Tim Hightower gets a rush or reception for over 18 yards, the Konmen lose. Redskins QB Rex Grossman drops back, surveys the field, doesn’t see an open receiver, decides to run out of the pocket, and… fumbles the ball! The fumble is recovered by the Cowboys, basically ending the game. Konmen Win!
I finished with 99 points in the Football Pick’em league, good for 18th place, 12 points behind the weekly leader. Konman is holding steady in 5th place out of 63 teams, but lost 3 points to the leader, now 6 points behind the overall leader.
Survival Football turned into a nail biter, but I lived to see another week nonetheless. On to week 4!
So it looks like the Konmen improved to 2-1, as did the Mushtangs. My Aaron Rodgers-Jermichael Finley combo hooked up for 3 TDs and mucho points. Go Mushtangs!
That’s right, the Konmen are now 2-1. Still think I’m going to have trouble scoring points and wins are going to be close calls all season, especially if Chris Johnson doesn’t start acting like the first round pick he was drafted to be.
That’s an impressive 36 points off TD’s for the Rodger/Finley combo, not counting yards. Can you have a little talk with Rodgers to make sure Jennings doesn’t get left out in the cold?
