Happy Turkey Day!

This is the day we’re supposed to give thanks. As such, the Poulios.com blog would like to give thanks to his loyal blog readers. I’m going to list them since it’s an extremely short list; mary (sometimes mar), mp, joker, and me. Ok, to clarify, “me” isn’t giving thanks to the blog host, she’s a good friend in NY. I’d also like to thank the developers of WordPress and the WordPress community that has helped me to create this web site.

On the personal side, I’ll keep it simple, I’d like to thank my family and friends for their support during the past year which I’ll admit had many ups and downs. This list is somewhat long so I’m not going to add names. Add the fact that I’d hate to miss someone, which I would inevitably do.

In honor of this day, I’m adding the picture discussed in the previous post. Yes, that’s my bum :-)

Enjoy!

  1. Well now, that really is something special. However, I do think I am glad I tuned in AFTER Thanksgiving to see it.

Speaking of ‘bums’, remind me to tell you about my trip to the ER with the man on Saturday…

  2. Just think, some years from now when he’s in college doing the inevitable keg stand, using that Irish blood to chug as much beer as possible, he’ll be dropping his pants to show the chickies his scar. :)

  3. Ha! Not that it’s funny for Mr. Me (we’ll have to give him an official Poulios.com nickname) to get hurt, but I would have never guessed he was the one doing wheelies. Now I’ll have to agree, his wheelie days are probably over.

I have just one question. Does he need one of those U shaped pillows to sit down in a chair?

  4. I asked him the same thing! He wasn’t amused. No, he’s doing ok without it. But now when he saws somethings’ a pain in the ass, he really means it!!

  5. Well, I hope he feels better.

On a similar note, joker used to carry just one picture in his wallet (before havings kids). It was a picture of him all bruised up after what I believe was a skiing accident. Never guess what was bruised (outside of his ego)? I wonder if he still carries that pic around.

  6. Yeah, everything is cool. We even went to a Dr. in the States when we visited Kelly’s parents and all is well. We’re thinking that the Rose Bowl isn’t gonnna happen. Crappy flights plus real expensive, hopefully PSU gets Rose Bowl bound when we’re back in the U.S.. Can you email us your new address?
